If your poker instincts tell you to raise a bet, say “raise.” This will let the other players know that you have a strong hand and can be trusted to make good bets. If you want to bet less than the last person, say “call.” This will match the amount of the previous player’s raise. If you are not sure what to bet, ask the dealer for advice.
